Summary of Conference Actions
-The Credentials Committee report was approved as presented. (171 delegates in-person and 70 delegates online were registered as of 9:15am entitling 241 delegates to vote at the start of the conference)
-The standing rules were approved as proposed.
-A minutes review committee of Dave Caceres, Terry Brown, and Cathy Hopkins was appointed.
-Priesthood calls for Dawn Bennet, Renee Congleton, and Doug Gregory each to the offices of high priest and evangelist were approved. (Ordinations occurred during the afternoon worship)
-Greetings and information were received from Apostle Carrie Welch and Field Support Minister Dena DeVormer.
-Officer, Board, and Committee/Team reports were received throughout the session.
-The 2026 mission center operating budget was approved as proposed.
-Linda Stanbridge was sustained to continue serving as mission center president in 2026.
-Jessica Montague was sustained to continue serving as mission center financial officer in 2026.
-The recommended mission center council members and ministry leaders for 2026 were sustained.
-An offering of $2739.29 was received and live auction sales totaled $4843 to support youth camp ministries with $7582.29 in funding.
-Resolution 1 was adopted as submitted by the Earth Stewardship Team. The Michigan Mission Center will become a partner in the One Home One Future campaign: www.onehomeonefuture.org/.
-Resolution 2 was adopted as submitted by the Capita Area congregation. The requested job descriptions are available on the mission center website here: cofchristmi.org/2025/10/29/2025-mission-center-staff-position-descriptions/.
-Campground Board Members were elected as follows:
Blue Water Campground: Darlene Pauly, Jeremy Campbell, Stephanie Hermann, Laurie Decker
Park of the Pines: Jamie Lis, Kimberly King, Dale Cleland, Dennis Ormsbee, Jeanette McCauslin
Sanford Campground: William Persall, Linda Nowiski, Julie Reinke, Tammy Morford, Evelyn Burns
Register to Attend
All delegates and guests planning to attend the fall mission center conference in-person or participate in the conference online are encouraged to register in advance for the weekend. Each person should register individually. Delegates will need to register in order to vote during the business session and receive a ballot for any elections that may be necessary.
Initial estimates for conference costs including facility rental are about $20 per person. There is no fee to register. Generous donations online with your registration or at the conference will be appreciated. Any income beyond expenses will be designated for youth camp ministries. Coffee will be available at SVSU on Saturday morning. Donations will be appreciated to cover this additional expense (approximately $2.50 per cup). Personal containers may not be used due to health code requirements.

Delegate Preparation
An online preparation session with a focus on the proposed 2026 operating budget was held on Wednesday, Oct. 15 via Zoom at 7:00pm. A recording of the session is available on the mission center YouTube channel. A final preparation session including review of business session items and time for questions will take place on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7:00pm.

Live Auction to Benefit Youth Camp Ministries
A live auction will be held during the afternoon business session with items available for purchase to support youth camp ministries. Only those participating in-person will be allowed to bid and payment must be received at conference prior to picking up an item. Some items may have a minimum bid requirement. Saturday Youth Activities for Grades K-5
Registration for the youth activities ended on Saturday, November 1. Those who registered will be contacted with details about the plans for youth during the business sessions on Saturday during the conference. Contact Dan Nowiski with any questions.
