Due to recent storm damage in the area and lack of registered volunteers this event has been cancelled. We will try to reschedule later in the year.
The Michigan Mission Center Earth Stewardship is partnering with Michigan Waterway Stewards to adopt a stretch of the Red Cedar River running by the Campus Ministry Center in East Lansing.
Volunteers are needed to help with a spring clean-up on Saturday, May 17 starting at 2:00pm. Michigan Waterway Stewards will provide catamarans and kayaks for 10 volunteers to be on the river. Individuals with their own kayaks would also be appreciated. Volunteers can also walk the river trail picking-up trash or help with clean-up on the campus ministry center property. Dinner will be provided.
