The Stewards of Creation Initiative (SoCI) is a new program developed by Community of Christ Michigan Mission Center’s Earth Stewardship Team. The program aims to partner with congregations in their journey of living out our calling to be stewards of the Earth, embodying our enduring principle of Sacredness of Creation, and growing together in our response to climate change.
SoCI is designed to allow congregations to work at their own pace on the activities that they select with support from the Earth Stewardship Team along the way. Congregations work their way up from a seedling to canopy as they achieve new levels through activities. For questions about the initiative, contact Earth Stewardship Team Lead, Dan Nowiski at dan@cofchristmi.org.
