Members of the Naming, Claiming and Acting the Change Team (NCAC) are planning a hybrid worship experience focused on enduring principles for Sunday, January 18 at 11:00am. Waterford Community of Christ will be hosting the in-person worship location at 1990 Crescent Lake Road, Waterford, Michigan 48327. Congregations and individuals can also join online via Zoom (us02web.zoom.us/j/89559621274).
A potluck lunch will follow the worship experience at Waterford for those attending in-person. Bring a dish to pass if you are able.
Congregations and individuals are encouraged to engage in local opportunities on Monday, Jan. 19 to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in pursuit of Christ’s mission as our mission.

The NCAC group name states what we hope to do and inspire in Michigan: “Naming, Claiming, and Acting the Change” that is needed to promote inclusion, access, and dignity for all people. The NCAC Team aims to offer support for congregations and disciples to help us live out the enduring principles Unity in Diversity, Worth of All Persons, All are Called, and Blessings of Community. The team name declares that we will help the church name exclusion and oppression where it is present, claim and repent of our own roles in perpetuating and ending it, and promote action for reconciliation and peacebuilding.
