Child Protection Facilitator Training @ Detroit Hope

This training is for anyone interested in facilitating the child protection core training throughout the mission center. Child protection core training is what needs to be completed by those applying to become registered children and youth workers. Those interested in being a facilitator should be comfortable presenting before large and small groups, have a solid understanding of child development and child protection concepts, and be registered youth workers with no history of child abuse/neglect or criminal convictions involving children. Final approval to become a training facilitator will be at the discretion of the mission center president team.

The training will explore the up-to-date Community of Christ materials for core training, administrators, camp staff, and boundaries as well as new requirements for processing youth worker applications in Michigan.
