Mission Expansion – Strengthen Congregations, Leadership Development, Launch New Expressions

As part of the interim Mission Center Leadership Team, Adam will continue to serve as a Congregational Support Minister. He will also concentrate on the Mission Initiatives Pursue Peace on Earth and Experience Congregations in Mission. In so doing, he will take the lead in both congregation revitalization and launching Leading Congregations in Mission in Michigan.

Adam is a fifth generation member of Community of Christ and has served the Michigan Mission Center as a Congregational Support Minister since 2013. As a Congregational Support Minister, he helps develop and equip Pastoral Leadership Teams (PLTs) to lead their congregations in Christ’s mission. Adam was ordained to the office of Teacher in 1999, Elder in 2005, and High Priest in 2014.

Adam received his Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development and Management from Spring Arbor University. His Master of Divinity degree is from Chicago Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Beth, have co-owned Crossroads Animal Hospital in Jackson, MI since 2008.
